nWe are seeking a licensed Ophthalmologist to join our team next to Dr. Timothy G. McNally, D.O., F.A.O.C.O., M.T.A.S.C.P. an Ophthalmologist and owner of Center Road Eye Institute for 30+ years. Our Institute is committed to providing friendly, compassionate service. We are dedicated to treating each patient like family, upholding the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and excellence. As an Ophthalmologist on the team, you will be meeting with new and existing patients, reviewing their assessment results, and talking to them to learn about their current concerns and issues. You will also perform a comprehensive eye exam to detect any abnormalities, prescribe and fit the appropriate lenses, and diagnose eye conditions. The ideal candidate stays up to date on the latest advancements in ophthalmology, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and works well within a team environment.
nResponsibilities
nManage new and existing patients to determine their concerns and needs
nConduct a comprehensive eye exam to address all issues and find any defects or abnormalities
nPrescribe and fit the appropriate lenses
nDiagnose minor and major issues.
nWork closely with the rest of the office team, as well as outside medical providers, to deliver an exceptional patient experience
nQualifications
nPhysician must be board certified in specialty
nState of Michigan License required at time of employment
nDEA License
nBLS Certification and maintain recertification
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent listening skills
nFamiliarity with electric medical records systems
nThe ability to work well independently, as well as within a team environment
nWilling and able to work full/part-time
