About the job Ophthalmologist, Cataract Surgeon - Lubbock, TX

As an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, you will:
Restore sight and improve the quality of life for patients with cataracts
Evaluate individuals with cataracts and expertly diagnose when surgery is required
Utilize advanced surgical techniques to remove cloudy lenses and implant clear artificial intraocular lenses
Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes
Conduct precise, minimally invasive surgical procedures
Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring patient recovery and vision improvements
Collaborate with a dynamic team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and front office staff
Treat a wide range of ophthalmic cases, including corneal disorders, diabetic eye disease, LASIK, and glaucoma
