Newsom Eye is seeking a highly skilled Refractive Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. This role is ideal for a surgeon with strong experience in laser vision correction and refractive cataract surgery , who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a high‑volume, technology‑forward environment.
Surgeons with interest or expertise in advanced refractive technologies , premium IOLs , and vision‑correction innovation will thrive in our dynamic, multi‑specialty ophthalmology group.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care
Perform cataract surgery and refractive procedures (LASIK/PRK/SMILE/ICL depending on training)
Manage pre‑ and post‑operative patients
Collaborate closely with optometrists, technicians, and clinical staff
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of ophthalmology residency
Board certified or board eligible
Active Florida medical license
Strong surgical and clinical skills
Excellent communication and patient‑care focus
