Join our healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Retinal Ophthalmologist in a state-of-the-art facility. This role involves retinal consultation and treatment, providing crucial services to patients within the Indian Health Service. The position offers a flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per month, extending up to 16 hours as needed.

Job Responsibilities Provide retinal consultation and treatment, including intravitreal injections and laser treatments
Perform diagnostic and treatment services, ensuring follow-up care aligned with treatment plans
Coordinate care with optometrists within the service unit
Conduct a Retinal Consultation and Treatment Clinic monthly
Qualifications Licensed to practice ophthalmology
Experience in evaluating and treating ophthalmological disorders
Working Hours Scheduled on an as-needed basis, minimum of 4 hours per month with availability for up to 16 hours
Skills Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Ability to perform minor procedures and provide comprehensive ophthalmology services
Skilled in quality assurance activities and risk management reviews
