Ophthalmology Opening in Beautiful Lexington, Kentucky

Lexington Clinic is seeking a full-time Ophthalmology physician to join a well-established group practice in Lexington, Kentucky.

This is an extremely unique position: There are very few practice models where you can own your practice and still have the stability of an organization to manage the business side of operations for you.

The leadership team's purpose and goal at Lexington Clinic is to facilitate and make physicians' day-to-day lives easier and to preserve the last bit of autonomy they have in practicing medicine.

Our CEO is a physician who practiced medicine in a private equity-owned environment for many years. That experience inspired him to never want to work in that model again. He flipped that model upside down at Lexington Clinic physicians are at the top of the pyramid. We feel if physicians are fulfilled and happy in their careers, that will translate into exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights: $150K signing / retention bonus available for full-time positions

2-year base guarantee plus potential quarterly bonuses

Moving allowance and relocation assistance

Existing patient base with an excellent payer mix

Physician owned with partnership track and the opportunity to purchase stock shares

Recruitment due to growth and expansion

Looking to add a 4th cataract surgeon to the current group of 3

Glaucoma is a plus

Outpatient only with no hospital coverage

Lexington Clinic owned and operated high-efficiency ASC

Excellent specialty care partners with a large internal referral base of more than 30 specialties
