Locums - Superior, Wisconsin, Ophthalmology Job
Start Date: 01/01/2027
Coverage & Schedule:
Full-time provider coverage needed
Providers must commit to a minimum of 1 week at a time
Weekly schedule:
4 days in clinic
1 day dedicated to procedures
Patient volume:
30+ patients per clinic shift
8+ procedures on dedicated procedure days
Call:
Call ratio: 1:4
Call type: Beeper
Call response time required: 20 minutes
Callback: Minimal
Unassigned patients
Phone consults: 0-1
Patients seen: 0-1
Clinic & Equipment:
6 exam rooms total:
3 provider exam rooms
3 technician rooms
Heidelberg OCT with viewing station near provider exam lanes
Auto refractor
Argos
Topographer
Zeiss fundus camera
Zeiss Humphrey visual field
B-scan on site
YAG caps can be performed in office
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting:
Trauma Level II
Hospital stroke certified
Support Staff:
3-4 technicians
1 office staff
Requirements:
Board Certified in Ophthalmology
BLS certification required
