Job description
Sarmal, Inc., a San Diego-based biotechnology company, seeks a Principal Optical Engineer to own the optical architecture of our next-generation DNA sequencing platform, from concept through commercialization. You will lead end-to-end design, modeling, tolerancing, alignment, and characterization of a high-sensitivity detection system and partner with cross-functional and CRO/CDMO teams to bring a manufacturable product to market.
This role requires a Ph.D.
