Job description
Corning Incorporated in Fairport, NY, seeks a Summer 2027 Optical Design Intern to join the Advanced Optics team. You will model, tolerance and analyze complex optical systems from concept to completion during a 10-week summer program.
The role requires a BS or MS candidate with coursework in geometrical and physical optics, aberration theory and interferometry; proficiency in MATLAB or Python, and familiarity with optical design software.
