Job description

The University of Rochester is seeking a detail‑oriented engineer to support laser operations through data‑driven analysis, testing, and hands‑on operation. Opportunity includes evening shifts 1–2 times weekly to support schedules and ensure system performance.

Required: bachelor's in optical engineering or physics with 3 years of optics or laser experience, and experience with lasers or laser diodes. Strong analytical skills and MATLAB/Python proficiency are expected.
