About the job Optometrist | $1,200 Per Diem, 4 Days/Week - Lehighton, PA
A well-established, family-owned optometry practice is seeking a personable, reliable Optometrist to join its team. With a reputation built over four decades and a family legacy in optical spanning a century, this office combines professional excellence with a genuine commitment to work-life balance. Most optometrists on staff have enjoyed tenure of over 10 years, reflecting the welcoming and supportive culture.
Key Position Details:
Compensation: $1,200 per diem (1099 employee)
Schedule: 4 days per week (prefer Monday-Thursday, but Tuesday-Friday considered)
Patient Load: Typically 15-16 patients per day
Practice Environment: 2 opticians and 1 front desk staff
Technology: Familiarity with EMR systems required

In-house insurance department handles all credentialing and insurance paperwork
