About the job Optometrist - Abilene, Texas

This full-time Managing Doctor opportunity is perfect for a dependable, personable optometrist who thrives in a supportive, low-stress environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.Position Highlights:
Full-scope primary eye care with an emphasis on comprehensive exams and ocular disease management
Flexible scheduling: Choose 4, 5, or 6 days per week based on your goals
Typical patient volume: 6-15 exams per day (2-3 per hour)
Enjoy the freedom to focus on patient care - no retail sales expectations
Supported by trained clinical staff for efficient patient flow
Modern diagnostic and imaging technology (including Optos Monaco)
Full orientation and training for new grads or doctors unfamiliar with equipment
Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: $165,000/year (5 days) or $200,000/year (6 days)
Production bonus
Up to $200,000 in direct student loan repayment over 3 years ($66,667/year)
Estimated total annual compensation: $235,000-$266,667 with bonus/loan repayment
Company 401(k) with 3% match
10 days PTO annually
Health & dental insurance options for doctor and family
Paid optometry license and malpractice insurance
$500 annual CE allowance
Relocation assistance negotiable
