Looking for a part‑time role that feels rewarding, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable? This well-established ophthalmology practice is welcoming a skilled OD to join their team in their Fort Myers and Punta Gorda offices, offering a $700 per diem and a supportive environment you'll love.
Your Weekly Schedule:
Monday: Fort Myers
Wednesday: Punta Gorda
Friday: Fort Myers
What You'll Do:
Provide exceptional post‑op care (cataracts, lids, pseudophakic exams)
Diagnose and manage ocular conditions
Prescribe glasses, contacts, and vision solutions
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
Keep up with evolving optometry practices
Requirements:
A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Comfortable seeing postoperative patients, primarily cataract postops, but also lid postops and pseudophakic exams.
