Position Overview
Great opportunity for an optometrist to join established ophthalmology practice in the Rio Grande Valley Texas area. This is a state‑of‑the‑art outpatient surgery center. Full time schedule, 5 days per week, Mon‑Fri no weekends. Compensation is 150k‑200k, quarterly bonus, 50k sign‑on bonus, relocation reimbursement, student loan repayment and full benefits package. There is also a track for partnership if the optometrist is interested. This practice is located in an area abundant with wildlife, museums, and attractions for the whole family.
Job Duties
Provide full‑scope optometry including routine eye exams.
Handle medical cases.
Provide optical bonuses.
Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.
Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma.
