Calling all Optometry professionals! Vision Today Optometry, located in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our growing team immediately. What You'll Do
As a full-time Optometrist, you'll enjoy a dynamic and rewarding role caring for a diverse patient population. On a typical day, you can expect to: See approximately 18 patients daily
Average about three patients per hour
Perform comprehensive eye exams
Diagnose and manage ocular disease
Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
Educate patients on eye health and vision care
You'll have access to cutting-edge technology and a highly trained support staff who assist with patient workups, testing, contact lens fittings, and treatment coordination-allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care.
Who You Are
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist who is passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence. The ideal candidate: Holds an active Florida Optometrist license
Is comfortable treating patients of all ages and visual needs
Values teamwork and professionalism
Stays informed on the latest advancements in optometry
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
