Clarendon Vision Development Center, nestled just 20 miles from the vibrant heart of downtown Chicago, invites you to embark on a deeply rewarding career journey in our esteemed specialty optometry practice. We are in pursuit of a devoted Optometrist who is passionate about making genuine impacts on our patients’ lives, all while fostering their own professional development within our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will examine eyes and visual systems, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment, as well as diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. Patient care may include athletes after a concussion, adults with whiplash after a car accident, older adults with balance issues, children struggling in school, and patients with a traumatic brain injury that may have eye tracking and ocular teaming difficulties as well as Myopia Management.

Your Role:

Conduct thorough eye and visual system examinations, addressing not only acuities and overall health but also vital visual skills

Diagnose and manage diverse visual impairments, conditions, and diseases

Prescribe corrective lenses and facilitate pertinent treatments

Pediatric Care: Engage with our younger patients, ensuring their visual systems support their educational journeys

Vision Therapy Advocacy: Recommend and manage vision therapy options, ensuring comprehensive support for all patients

Contribute to and uphold our renowned Myopia Management program

Address a diverse patient demographic, encompassing post-concussion athletes to ocular-challenged traumatic brain injury patients

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree

An Optometry License in Illinois

What You’ll Need:

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree

An Optometry License in the state of Illinois
