Job description

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive vision and medical eye examinations within the bounds of individual licensure and Maryland's legal scope of practice.

Perform diabetic eye examinations; evaluate dry eye disease, cataracts, and glaucoma suspicion; conduct plaque screenings; and triage urgent eye or vision concerns.

Refer and consult on-site patients requiring surgical or advanced subspecialist care in glaucoma, retina, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, and low vision rehabilitation.

Prescribe glasses and soft contact lenses, with opportunity to build a specialty therapeutic contact lens practice; on‑site optical available with licensed opticians and high‑quality materials.

Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of experience or successful completion of an accredited optometry residency program.

Graduation from an accredited school of optometry required.

License in good standing in State of Maryland required.

National Provider Identification (NPI) required.
