CAS Assessor – Developmental Disabilities (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid Remote / Field-Based (Temp-to-Perm potential)
Location / Coverage: New York City Openings (All 5 Boroughs: Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island)
Conduct person-centered Coordinated Assessment System (CAS) evaluations for adults (aged 18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities receiving services through OPWDD. This hybrid role combines independent, paperless documentation with in-person field visits across NYC.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct conversational, person-centered assessments in individuals' homes and community settings across the 5 boroughs.

Interview individuals, family members, caregivers, and clinicians to accurately gather data and verify coding.

Complete documentation, record reviews, and web-based coding within strict 3-calendar-day deadlines.

Maintain standard monthly quality and productivity goals.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Sociology, Child Development, Nursing, or related accepted disciplines (proof of degree required).

Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-degree experience working directly with adults (18+) with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Schedule & Travel: Availability for local NYC travel and flexible scheduling, including required availability for 1–2 weekends per month.

Environment & Tech: Dedicated, quiet home office for telehealth/documentation; proficiency in web-based applications, email, and MS Word.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
