nOR Care Tech Responsibilities:
nPerform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN. Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments and sterilizers
nRequirements:
nnnBLS (Basic Life Support)
n
nnHigh School or Equivalent
n
nnPreferred - Technical Program Completion or Degree
n
nnPreferred - 1 year of experience in procedural and/or perioperative in-patient care.
