Job description
Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, communicating effectively across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Key Duties:
Assess and evaluate patient conditions comprehensively
Educate patients and families on care plans and medication management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
