About This Role
The OR RN Circulator participates as a member of the health care team, delivering quality health care to patients while supporting Kaiser Permanente's mission and values. This role is ideal for experienced RNs with a strong background in acute care and surgical settings.

What You'll Do
Provide evidence-based, clinically competent nursing care in a culturally sensitive manner.
Plan, implement, manage, coordinate, and evaluate a plan of care across the care continuum.
Facilitate member wellness and function, identifying needs for health care interventions.
Utilize appropriate assessment tools and clinical pathways to manage patient care.
Perform and modify therapeutic and preventive nursing measures and administer treatments.
Conduct triage and telephone advice independently within the scope of the Nurse Practice Acts.
Document nursing care provided, demonstrating application of the nursing process.
Mentor new staff and assist with orientation and staff development needs.
Participate in outreach and in-reach activities to meet clinical targets.
Collaborate with Team Leader and Manager in setting quality standards for nursing care.
Requirements
**Education:**
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
**Experience:**
Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years
Minimum two (2) years of experience circulating in an inpatient or ambulatory surgery operating room in the past five (5) years
**Licenses & Certifications:**
Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
Basic Life Support certification required
Nurse Operating Room Certificate (US-CNOR) preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (US-ACLS) preferred
