Job Title: OR Technician CTOR Location: Newark Beth Israel Medical Ctr Department Name: Operating Room Req #: Status: Hourly Shift: Day Pay Range: $34.80 - $42.88 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients. Qualifications: Required: Must be a certified Surgical Technologist . Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable): Current BLS required (American Heart Association) Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions): Full-Time Day 37.5 Hour Work Week Essential Functions: Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes. Ensure patient's physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative. In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
