Join GDIT as an Oracle Database Analyst for a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:As an Oracle Database Analyst, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USSTRATCOM. USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environment.You will play a crucial role in providing support in the following areas:Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle database systems to ensure high performance, security, and availability.Design and implement database schemas, monitor database health, and perform routine backups and recovery operations to safeguard mission-critical data.Troubleshoot database-related issues, manage user access and permissions, and optimize queries to enhance system performance.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards while staying current on updates, patches, and advancements in Oracle technologies.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Technical training (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experienceSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibilityRequired Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start; Cloud+, Security+, SSCP or GSECLocation: Offutt AFB, NEOracle database administration (installation, configuration, tuning)SQL and PL/SQL proficiencyPerformance monitoring and optimizationBackup, recovery, and disaster ? recovery planningTroubleshooting and root ? cause analysisSecurity management and compliancePatch management and staying current with Oracle updatesStrong documentation and communication skillsExperience with Data Guard, RAC, Multitenant, ASM, OEM is a plusDesired experience: OUD, AnsibleGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:Excellent customizable health benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision)401K with company matchEducational Assistance and eLearningFlexible work weekInternal mobility team dedicated to employee advancementRewards and Recognition programsInnovative and collaborative environment encouraging highly motivated critical thinkingThe likely salary range for this position is $129,813 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
