Oracle Database Solutions ArchitectGood to have qualifications:Worked in a solutions architect role for deployment / migration / upgrade of large customersResponsibilities:Influence the design, capacity planning tuning and the actual build out of Exadata DB instancesWork towards automating key migration activitiesDatabase environment administration (install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring) on any Oracle DB platformEnsure the DB system is always up to date and patched to the latest version in an automated fashionDevelop solutions that ensure DB health checks are done in an automated and proactive fashionInteract with customers and application team for any priority situations and react/respond in a timely mannerPlay a key role in the design of HA/DR solutionsGet involved in performance, scalability and reliability analysis and database query tuningTroubleshoot HA/DR and database performance issues on the existing cloud serviceWork with architects and development managers in requirements specification definition and detailed engineering analysis from data requirements perspectiveOwn database/schema design documentation at component and product levelParticipate in rapid delivery in planning, building, configuring, deploying, monitoring and documenting for Oracle migration projectsMigration: move existing On-Prem Exadata based Oracle DBs to a newly built Exadata InfrastructureMigrate Oracle DBs with near zero downtime solutionsTroubleshooting: have a deep understanding of our services and dependencies in order to respond quickly and efficiently to major incidents and minimize service disruptions when they occur. Root cause issues so that improvements can be made. Customer support, configuration, and address escalated issues in a timely mannerEnvironment support: need expertise in cutting-edge products and technologies like Oracle RAC, GoldenGate (Bi-Directional), High Availability, Data Guard, Corruption, Backup and Recovery, RMAN, Performance, Memory Management, Parallel query, Query tuning, ASM, Security, Networking, Enterprise Manager etc.
