Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Test Analyst with strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials/Accounting and hands‑on experience in functional testing. The candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test scenarios, validating financial processes, identifying defects, and supporting end‑to‑end testing of Oracle Fusion applications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional testing of Oracle Fusion Financials/Accounting modules.
Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts .
Execute SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing .
Validate accounting transactions and financial processes in Oracle Fusion.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using appropriate defect management tools.
Work closely with business users, functional consultants, developers, and other testing teams.
Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and Oracle Fusion.
Support UAT activities and assist business users during testing.
Analyze test results and prepare test execution/status reports.
Ensure test coverage for business‑critical accounting processes.
Participate in requirement reviews and identify potential testing gaps.
Oracle Fusion Accounting / Financials Areas
Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets
Cash Management
Intercompany
Tax
Financial Reporting
Accounting Hub
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Record-to-Report (R2R)
Required Skills
Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials / Accounting .
Good understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
Experience in functional testing of Oracle Fusion applications .
Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing .
Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Good understanding of defect management and test lifecycle.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar .
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Good to Have
Experience with Oracle Fusion implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
Knowledge of Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion migration testing.
Experience with API/integration testing.
Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of automated testing tools is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience as an Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant, Oracle Fusion QA/Tester, Oracle Financials Test Analyst, or Oracle Fusion Functional Tester with strong accounting‑domain knowledge would be suitable for this role.
