About this opportunity
Citrus Oral and Facial Surgery at Ocala lists this ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON WITH EARLY PARTNERSHIP opportunity in ocala, Florida. Review the employer’s description below for duties, qualifications and application requirements.
Job description
Citrus Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join an established, high-volume private practice in Central Florida. The schedule is already full - you step into immediate surgical volume, not a year of building from zero as we have three NPs seeing our consults and are currently booked out several months.
For more than 40 years, our practice has delivered comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care across Citrus and Marion Counties from our two locations in Crystal River and Ocala, FL. We bring a strong, growing referral base, modern surgical facilities, cone beam CT and digital imaging, and an experienced clinical team.
This is a genuine ownership opportunity, not a "track" in name only: partnership available within (24) months for the right surgeon.
Why this is a stronger first job than a metro associate role?
In saturated markets like Tampa or Orlando, new surgeons compete with dozens of others for volume and wait years for any path to ownership. Here, you earn more and own sooner. Lower competition, an already-full schedule, strong regional population growth, and a favorable cost of living mean more take-home and a faster route to partnership than you'll find in a major metro.
Case Mix
Our production is approximately (75)% dentoalveolar, (25)% implant and full-arch. The implant/full-arch share is expanding, which is where the earning upside concentrates.
Compensation
Based on current volume
* Production-based earning potential above guarantee. In your first year you can take home >$1 million
* Partnership available within (24) months
* Relocation assistance
* Professional liability coverage, health and retirement benefits, CE allowance, paid dues and licensing
Scope of Practice
Full-scope OMS: dentoalveolar and impacted third molars, dental implants and full-arch, bone grafting and regenerative procedures, office-based general anesthesia, oral pathology and biopsy, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, and additional procedures based on your training and interests.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD; completion of an accredited OMS residency; board certified or board eligible; eligible for Florida licensure.
Lifestyle
Central Florida's Nature Coast offers excellent quality of life, strong schools, abundant outdoor recreation, and easy access to both Tampa and Orlando - without the cost or congestion of either.
