Our client is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join their established specialty dental team in Sarasota, Florida. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care to patients of all appropriate ages
Perform surgical extractions, including complex and impacted teeth
Perform dental implant placement and related surgical procedures
Diagnose and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans
Perform bone grafting and other pre-prosthetic surgical procedures as appropriate
Evaluate and manage oral pathology and other surgical conditions
Collaborate closely with general dentists, Periodontists, and other specialists
Educate patients regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-operative care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and deliver a high standard of patient care
Utilize modern surgical techniques and technology to achieve excellent clinical outcomes
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
Active Florida Dental License or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
Experience with dental implants, extractions, bone grafting, and comprehensive oral surgery procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care
Ability to work collaboratively with general dentists and other dental specialists
