Warehouse Fulfillment AssociateCrowd Cow is an online retailer, providing our customers with access to the best meats and seafoods. Crowd Cow offers the most convenient and direct way for consumers to purchase from independent and family-owned farms, providing access to a world of craft meats and seafoods more diverse and flavorful than most people realize.Our Warehouse Fulfillment team is a critical piece of our organization. They are the people that ensure our exacting standards are met and our customers' orders arrive on time with 100% accuracy. How exactly do they do this? They work as a team with a sense of urgency and with a level of detail that is second to none. Our same day shipping model requires peak performance at all times. You will perform various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. A keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed.Due to the nature of our business, this position requires working in cold storage and freezer environments, with proper equipment provided.The regularly scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm with possible overtime based on order volume. Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities:Process, pack, and ship orders accuratelyMaintain inventory of products; restock as neededInspect products for damages; report as neededMaintain a clean and orderly warehouse environmentReceive and appropriately sort and store incoming productsPrepare products for shippingFollow all safety protocol and warehouse proceduresAdditional Duties and Responsibilities assigned as neededWarehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma preferredProven work experience in a warehouse settingFamiliarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment is a plus but not required.Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forkliftGood working knowledge of computer usage for order fulfillmentSolid communication skills and inventory skillsPhysical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbsThis is a full time position with an hourly rate of $18.50.
