Order Fulfillment SpecialistAdvanced Drainage Systems is a leading manufacturer of stormwater and onsite septic wastewater solutions, committed to sustainability and innovation. They are a key link in communication with our customers for order/inventory questions. The individual works closely with our production/shipping departments and Customer Service Representatives to ensure that every order is processed and delivered on time.A strong business acumen, basic computer skills and the ability to reason through ever changing scenarios are necessities for this position. Taking the initiative, strong math skills, and the ability to anticipate problems before they occur are also essential for success in this position. The candidate must work well with a team of people who are committed to continuing the Company's high growth rate.Responsibilities:Track and follow up of known issues and important orders on a daily basis.Create production order travelers to align production efforts with customer ordersReview all orders for inventory availability and delivery date requirements. Insure that customer and Sales are informed of production and transportation delays.Work as liaison for customer communication between our shipping and production teamsReview of orders to ensure that information is correct. Coordinate and resolve customer pickup issues.Become the main point of contact for the Sales team on plant specific questions. Monitor backorders to provide delivery dates.Job Requirements:Strong MS Excel/Teams/Outlook skillsDemonstrated critical thinking skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsExceptional communication skills in-person and through phone/email with internal and external customersAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, performance based environmentPreferred Skills/Qualification:Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systemBachelor's degree in supply chain management/business or equivalent experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Employee will be lifting heavy objects and must have the ability to lift 25 pounds. Employee will be sitting for a specified amount of time and must have the ability to sit at a minimum for 8 hours.Hourly Range:$26.50-$29.00 per hour. Individual pay may vary and is determined by work location, shift, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
