Order Preparation SpecialistThe Order Preparation Specialist is responsible for advancing order flow, answering questions from customers and internal staff, and removing roadblocks on orders. Duties in a nutshell: gathering pertinent data points to place in orders; dispatching movement; communicating with customers and vendors by phone and email; establishing strong relationships with customer contacts and vendors; conducting quality checks; and assisting with any additional tasks and responsibilities as may be deemed necessary by management.Status: Temp-to-HireLocation: GainesvilleSalary: $19.75/Hour Schedule: 5 days/week (Monday – Friday); between 8:00am-6:00pm. Once converted it will be adjusted as part of the employment offer.Duties and Responsibilities in detail:Initiate the vehicle transport life cycle by managing accurate data collection, order submission, dispatch for movement to the correct entity, and participating in all order phases to ensure customer satisfaction.Negotiate and resolve transport issues and solutions while balancing customer needs with operational constraints.Effectively manage direct communication with customers, both FMCs as well as their clients.Address questions and offer solutions to customers, both internal and external, using sound judgement to resolve issues, reduce delays and enhance the customer experience following all standard processes to completion.Manage details of each request placing information in specific areas of the order to ensure full understanding of customer requirements.Monitor and manage team dashboard and views to complete tasks and keep orders moving.Organize daily activities to ensure completion through provided tools. Respond to emails promptly and courteously, within the industry standard of 4 hours.Skills and Experience:1-2 years experience in a call center, customer service or sales preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent will be accepted too.Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills – emailing and calling customers to clarify.Possess good computer/data entry skills – mining information from emails and entering into PARS system.Problem solving skills – ability to learn our business to help resolve issues.Have ability to analyze work and notice trends – forward thinking.Exhibit critical thinking skills and the ability to use knowledge, facts, and data to effectively solve problems.Demonstrate financial understanding while balancing customer needs and company obligations.Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and follow through to completion.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): Per Hour
