Job description
Order Processor - StandardThis position is for day shift Order Processors in a large paint packaging facility. The typical hours are from 5:30am to 2pm, with limited overtime, usually just 40-hour weeks. Although it is currently a contract position lasting 1 to 2 months, there is potential for extension.ResponsibilitiesPerform work across both Distribution and Manufacturing areas as assigned.Sort and organize full pallets of gallon cases, 5-gallon pails, and quart cases.Open paint pails and cans and pour remaining paint into totes for rework.Pump paint from 5-gallon pails into totes.Scrape and clean pails and cans to remove remaining product.Operate equipment used to crush empty paint containers; training will be provided.Sort, stack, and palletize empty containers for drying and storage.Lift, move, and stack cases of paint and other materials as needed.Maintain clean and organized work areas.Assist with additional cleaning and general assignments as needed.Essential SkillsWarehouse operations experienceOrder processingRF Scanner usageSkills in picking, shipping and receivingInventory managementLabeling and relabelingOrder pullingGeneral laborWarehouse packingAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diplomaEntry-level position; no experience neededWhy Work Here?Employees who transition to permanent positions receive a pay increase.
