Description
Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO), a well-established and highly respected orthopedic group, is seeking a BE/BC, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our growing practice New Orleans, Louisiana . This opportunity offers a strong referral base ,excellent clinical support , and a clear pathway to partnership —with general orthopaedic call required with call pay!
Join as an associate physician with a guaranteed base salary for two years, a productivity bonus model, and additional call pay!
Practice and Position Highlights
Established Practice : Founded in 1949, OANO has a long-standing reputation for excellence in orthopedic care.
Team : Join 7 orthopedic surgeons and 3 physician assistants.
Clinical Locations : Two well-equipped clinics in New Orleans and Metairie.
Call Responsibilities : General orthopaedic call is required and additionally compensated, on a 1:5 schedule .
Call volume is manageable with low-energy cases such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and distal radius fractures.
Physician assistants assist with initial ED consults and post-call support.
Subspecialty Support : Includes arthroscopy, joint replacement, spine, sports medicine, hand, shoulder, trauma, and workers’ compensation.
Hospital Affiliations : Touro Hospital, Ochsner Baptist
