OrthoVirginia , the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible orthopedic Hand Surgeons to join our practice in Richmond,VA.
About OrthoVirginia:
OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia. We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. We also have MRI, injection suites, after-hoursclinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma. Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.
This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopediccall.
Qualifications:
Strong background in Hand Surgery
Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
Board Certification/Eligibility
MD or DO degree
Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure
Common Procedures:
Carpal tunnel release
Trigger finger release
Hand and wrist fracture repair
Tendon repair and reconstruction
Nerve repair and decompression
Joint replacement (hand and wrist)
Ligament reconstruction
Treatment of arthritis in the hand and wrist
Microsurgery
Management of congenital hand conditions

Compensation Range for this position:
$275,000 - $325,000

Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography, productivity, job responsibilities, or other factors permissible by law.
