All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full TimeShift: Monday-Friday 10am-7pmThe community you'll be caring for: Physical Therapy PatientsLocation Address: 305 Memorial Medical Pkwy Suite 100 Daytona Beach, FL 32117The role you'll contribute: The Physical Therapy Assistant conducts physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical TherapistThe value you'll bring to the team:Based on the findings and goals established by the Physical Therapist evaluation, the Therapist Assistant implements an individualized treatment plan of care utilizing Practice Standards and recommended techniques, insurance guidelines and patient's needs. Modifies treatment plan as appropriate based upon on-going assessments and consultation with the Physical TherapistCollects patient data and communicates to the Physical Therapist regarding discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to the standards of practice and payer guidelinesParticipates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the departmentPractices principles of professional development by maintaining clinical competencies, using best and/or evidence-based practices and serving as a clinical instructorRegularly participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
