Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Orthopedic - Trauma NP/PA, you will help orthopedic patients receive comprehensive, expert care from admission through recovery so they can achieve optimal surgical outcomes and improved quality of life.
nIn this pivotal role, you will drive orthopedic patient management and surgical support. You will be expected to perform first assistance in complex orthopedic surgeries, conduct inpatient rounds, coordinate interdisciplinary care with medical and trauma teams, and provide timely consultations for ER patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Additionally, you'll manage diagnostic testing, medication administration, and actively contribute to quality assurance initiatives within our dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
nTo be successful in this role, you must possess proven experience in orthopedic patient management, surgical first assist capabilities, and a strong collaborative spirit to excel within a fast-paced trauma setting. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and coordinating comprehensive orthopedic care will be crucial for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

nPA Requirements:
nnnDegree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
n
nnGraduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
n
nnMust hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
n
nnValid DEA registration.
n
nnMust meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
n
n nNP Requirements:
nnnMaster's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
n
nnGraduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
n
nnCompact state or Arizona RN license
n
nnArizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
n
nnMust hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC

nnValid DEA registration
