Orthodontic Assistant at Premier OrthodonticsBennion Lambourne Orthodontics in Billings, MT is looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking orthodontic assistant to join a growing practice! Talk to us about our in-office training!Bringing resumes into our Westend location, 152 S 32nd St W, Suite A, Billings, MT 59102 is encouraged.This position is full-time (32-40 hours), Monday through Friday, with general hours of need being from 7 am to 5 pm.Benefits: 401K, PTO, Health, Dental, Vision Insurance available, as well as other options.Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:Provides continual and exceptional customer service for all patients, making the patient the first priority.Practices constant cleanliness throughout the office and sterilizes when not assisting.Utilizes all downtime.Arrives on time for all shifts.Follows the training compact and takes responsibility for his or her training.Assists all doctors in procedures, carrying out procedures in an effective and efficient manner.Continues to learn about the office policies, procedures, and flow.Keeps patients safe during their time in the office.Reviews company email and communication board each shift for updates.Follows the team member guidelines.Maintains patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.Reasonable computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new programs as required.Good eyesight (what we work with is small!).The Success Patterns for this position are:Has one to three years experience in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting.Has a reputation for excellent relations with patients and all office staff.Has worked effectively as part of a team.Ability to improvise in a busy work environment.Successful Candidates will have the following Personal Characteristics:Interested in learning about orthodontics.Self-motivated, especially under pressure.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Able to effectively manage emotions in the workplace.Communicates effectively and efficiently, both verbal and written.Detail-oriented.Strong organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Recognizes when help is needed and asks for help.Culture of Bennion Lambourne Orthodontics:There is no divided line between clinical staff and front desk staff - we are all ONE team!Passion for continual learning, especially about orthodontics.Maintaining, managing, and exuding positive energy by all is a must.Everyone is willing to help when needed, even when it's not a normal part of your regular job.RequirementsPhysical demands:Bending, stooping, walking, and standing for long periods at a time.Great manual dexterity and able to use hands for fine motor movements throughout the workday.Must be able to safely lift up to 30 lbs.Education/Certification:High school diploma or equivalentOrthodontic assisting experience preferredExperience in a professional setting with direct patient interaction preferred, but not requiredComprehensive Benefits Package:Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)Paid holidaysPaid time off
