Orthodontic AssistantExperienced Orthodontic Assistant – Part-TimeGilbert, AZ | $20–$26 per hour, depending on experienceJoin the Team at Sonoran Smile OrthodonticsFor more than 20 years, Sonoran Smile Orthodontics has provided exceptional orthodontic care in a warm, welcoming, and patient-centered environment.We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our Gilbert office on a part-time basis.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to work from one dedicated office location.ResponsibilitiesAssist the orthodontist during clinical proceduresTake digital X-rays, impressions, intraoral scans, and clinical photographsPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipmentFollow OSHA, infection-control, and sterilization standardsPlace and remove orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontistEducate patients on oral hygiene and the proper care of braces, aligners, and other appliancesAccurately document treatment notes and patient progressHelp maintain inventory and an organized, efficient clinical areaProvide an exceptional patient experience from start to finishQualificationsPrevious orthodontic assisting experience is requiredCurrent Arizona dental assisting credentials preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organization and attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environmentPositive attitude and team-first mentalityCommitment to providing outstanding patient careWhat We Offer$20–$26 per hour, depending on experienceOpportunities for continued learning and professional growthSupportive and collaborative team environmentFlexible schedule
