Orthodontic AssistantLocation: Montgomery, AL Schedule: Full-Time | 35–40 hours per weekWe are looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team in Montgomery, AL! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on orthodontic assisting experience.What You'll DoAssist the orthodontist during patient appointments and proceduresPrepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic proceduresAssist with bonding, debonding, wire changes, adjustments, and other orthodontic proceduresProvide patients and parents with instructions on appliances, retainers, elastics, and at-home careSterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment areasAccurately document treatment and patient informationHelp maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the dayProvide a friendly, positive experience for our patients and familiesSupport the clinical and admin team wherever neededWhat We're Looking ForPrevious orthodontic assisting experience is requiredDental assisting experience in a busy clinical environmentKnowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, instruments, and infection-control protocolsStrong communication and patient-service skillsDependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a teamComfortable working with children and familiesCurrent certifications required by the State of Alabama, as applicableScheduleFull-time positionApproximately 35–40 hours per weekSchedule may vary based on patient and practice needsWhy Join Us?You'll be joining a supportive team that is focused on providing an excellent patient experience while creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
