This role is essential to keeping our office running safely and efficiently by ensuring instruments, treatment areas, and clinical supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, prepared, and ready for patient care.This is a great opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in the dental field. We are willing to train the right person!Key ResponsibilitiesClean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and properly store dental instrumentsFollow all OSHA, CDC, infection-control, and office safety standardsOperate and maintain sterilization equipment according to manufacturer guidelinesComplete required sterilization logs, testing, and documentationPrepare instrument setups and supplies for scheduled proceduresTurn over and disinfect treatment chairs and clinical areas between patientsMonitor sterilization supplies and communicate restocking needsKeep the sterilization area clean, organized, and fully functionalAssist with laundry, supply organization, and general clinical supportHelp maintain smooth patient flow by anticipating the clinical team's needsWear required personal protective equipment and follow all office protocolsSupport orthodontic assistants and other team members as neededTravel between the Joplin and Nevada, MO clinics will be required.Adapts to shifting practice priorities by handling additional responsibilities as requested by the Practice Manager.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyDependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude and willingness to learnStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a teamAbility to stand for extended periods of timeWhat We're Looking For The ideal candidate takes pride in doing things correctly, notices what needs to be done, and enjoys supporting others.
