Role Description
The Orthopaedic Surgeon at Summit Surgical, LLC will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing orthopedic procedures, consulting with patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams, and managing pre-operative and post-operative care. The surgeon will focus on conditions involving bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and the spine, while maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to evidence-based best practices. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hutchinson, KS, requiring consistent presence for patient care, procedures, and team collaboration.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedics, including operative and non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Clinical proficiency in Surgery, with strong skills in perioperative care, patient safety, and surgical techniques.
Specialized knowledge in Spine-related conditions and procedures, with the ability to integrate spine care into overall orthopedic practice.
Strong foundation in Medicine, including evidence-based clinical decision-making, diagnostics, and comprehensive patient care.
Completion of accredited medical school and orthopedic surgery residency; fellowship training in orthopedics or spine surgery preferred.
Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery and current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of Kansas.
Excellent communication skills, commitment to patient-centered care, and ability to work collaboratively in a surgical team environment.
Willingness to participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
