Orthopedic Hand Surgeon – Lafayette, LA

End Date/Duration: Permanent position
Shift: 2-3 days in OR per week, flexible scheduling
Hours/week: Approx. 8-12 hours/week in OR
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
License/Certifications: Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Experience: Open to experienced or new graduates
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note—may be placeholder or negotiable)

What You'll Do
Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgical procedures
Manage outpatient and inpatient orthopedic cases
Collaborate with team-based care model, including APPs and support staff
Engage in patient consultations, pre-op planning, and post-surgical care
Participate in teaching and mentoring residents if interested
Contribute to a growing practice with state-of-the-art technology and facilities
Provide seamless patient care utilizing on-site inpatient rehab and advanced surgical resources
What You Need
Valid Medical License in Louisiana or eligibility
Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
Strong clinical skills in hand and upper extremity procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preference for candidates with prior surgical experience; new graduates encouraged to apply
