New Service line with opportunity to leave your mark in orthopedic care in Sioux City
2 Campus hospital with level 3 Trauma status
184 bed Hospital- 18 bed open ICU hospitalist team and intensivists
464 bed downtown campus with closed ICU
Clinic located on ambulatory campus which also has a Multi-specialty located on campus with buy-in opportunity
Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists
Excellent OR access with experienced staff
Onsite Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities General Orthopedics & Trauma with opportunity to build in sub-specialty interests
10 days of hospital call per month-inpatient, consultation, and trauma-no clinic
Clinic M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM located in ASC
Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Physicians MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
J-1 waiver sponsorship available
