Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Orthopedic Advanced Practitioner, you will empower Prescott residents, delivering exceptional outpatient orthopedic care so they can regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve optimal musculoskeletal health. This crucial role directly supports our mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered healthcare within a thriving community.
nIn this dynamic role, you will:
nnnDiagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
n
nnYou will be expected to expertly manage patient clinics, perform inpatient rounding, and potentially assist in various orthopedic surgeries including total knee, total hip, shoulder, ORIF's, trigger finger releases, and toe amputations.
n
nnThis position offers a rewarding 4x10 hour work week.
n
nnFirst Assist as required.
n
n nTo be successful in this role, you must possess a strong clinical background as an Orthopedic Advanced Practitioner, demonstrated proficiency in outpatient orthopedic management, and the ability to seamlessly transition between clinic, hospital rounds, and surgical assistance. Ideal candidates will have experience with the listed procedures and a commitment to collaborative, patient-focused care.
nWe are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We also offer a retirement plan with employer match. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for student loan repayment.

nnnDegree as a Physician Assistant

nnActive or eligible license in the state of Arizona
n
nnGraduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
n
nnMinimum 3 years Orthopedic First Assist PA experience, preferably in an acute setting.

nnMust hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
n
nnValid DEA registration
n
nnMust meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
n
n nNP
nnnMaster's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners
n
nnActive or eligible license in the state of Arizona
n
nnCompact state or Arizona RN license
n
nnRNFA Certification is a must.
n
nnSurgical First Assist certification
n
nnMinimum of 3 years Orthopedic First Assist NP experience, preferably in an acute setting.
n
nnMust hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC, or d). NP-PNCB

nnValid DEA registration

nnMust meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
