We offer diverse career paths for talented individuals seeking professional growth and development within a supportive and rewarding work environment where your contributions will make a significant impact.What You'll DoAs an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you'll:Guiding Patients: Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, and ensure comfort and privacyGathering Information: Accurately review patient registration details, collect necessary forms, and complete EMR intake documentationCoordinating Care: Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeriesCommunication and Follow-Up: Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queuesDME Support: Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when neededA Great Fit If You…Are highly organized and detailed, ensuring every patient interaction is smooth and thoroughStay calm and efficient in a busy, high-energy clinic settingCommunicate with professionalism, empathy, and clarityLove being part of a collaborative healthcare teamWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience)1+ year of medical office experience preferredExperience with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred)Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong sense of professionalism and patient confidentialityWhy OrthoAtlanta?Be part of a highly respected orthopedic practiceHands-on clinical experience with opportunities for professional growthSupportive and team-oriented work environment focused on exceptional patient careAre you ready to bring your expertise to a team committed to excellence in Orthopedics?
