Job description
Role: Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon responsible for providing specialized sports medicine care within a physician-owned orthopedic group.
Responsibilities: Manage immediate patient volume with a focus on sports-related injuries, perform surgeries with 2.5 days of OR time weekly, and participate in game coverage at college and high school levels. Collaborate with a team of 12 orthopedic surgeons and utilize a robust referral network. Support includes experienced staff and APP assistance after six months. Engage in a practice offering a full continuum of ancillary services, including practice ownership options in practice, ASC, physical therapy, imaging, and walk-in clinics.
Qualifications & Skills: Expertise in sports medicine, surgical proficiency, ability to handle immediate case volume, and strong collaborative skills. A patient-first and collegial approach is essential.
Key Duties: Providing comprehensive sports medicine care, performing surgeries, participating in community and school sports coverage, and contributing to a growing practice with partnership and ownership opportunities. The role offers high earning potential (> $1.1M), a two-year partnership track, and a culture focused on long-term excellence.
