Job description
Role Overview: An Orthopedic Surgeon is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care, with opportunities to focus on subspecialties such as sports or joint replacement. The role involves managing surgical volumes with strong APP support, handling call duties primarily via phone, and contributing to a healthcare team in a regional hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Performing orthopedic surgeries and consultations
Providing comprehensive patient care and follow-up
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Supporting hospital operations and patient education
Participating in call schedules with optional additional pay for after-hours coverage
Qualifications & Skills
Board eligibility or certification in Orthopedic Surgery
Strong surgical skills and subspecialty interest (optional)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage a high patient volume in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary with potential to earn in the 90th percentile, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan contributions, and optional call pay.
