Position Summary:
Vista Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles, while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of orthopedic care.
Key Responsibilities:
nnnProvide surgical and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
n
nnPerform orthopedic procedures including joint replacements, arthroscopies, and fracture care.
n
nnDevelop treatment plans in coordination with physical therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists.
n
nnEvaluate patient condition through history-taking, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
n
nnEducate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and rehabilitation.
n
nnParticipate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

n Qualifications:
nnnMedical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
n
nnCompletion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
n
nnBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
n
nnActive Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
n
nnExcellent clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
n
nnStrong communication and team collaboration abilities.
