We are searching for individuals who are compassionate, serve with a purpose, are dedicated to supporting their team, and who seek excellence every day.Location: IU Health North HospitalShift: Full-time Monday through Friday with potential on-call rotationRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.Orthopedic technician certification preferred.Successful completion of ortho technician orientation required upon hire.Roles and Responsibilities:Under the direction of unit nursing or unit leadership, performs basic patient care technician/nursing assistant functions. Assists with fractures, casting, placement of skeletal pins and removal of sutures or pins. Assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment and devices.
