Job description

Orthopedic TechnicianUnder the general supervision of the Back Office Lead/Medical Office Manager, the Orthopedic Technician will assist the orthopedic physician in providing casts and/or limb stability, wound care, general patient education, and general nursing care to the maximum extent allowed by their certification and/or licensure.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited orthopedic technical training program.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.At least one (1) year full-time work experience in a hospital, clinic or office setting, working directly in the treatment of orthopedic patients.Preferred Qualifications:Upon hire: NBCOT certificationWhy Join Providence?
