nVassar Brothers Medical Center located in Poughkeepsie, NY,just 75 minutes north of New York City, is seeking an additional Orthopedic Surgeon to further grow their collegial team. Specialized training is welcome but not required. Preferences would be hand or trauma.

nTypical service responsibilities consist of outpatient clinical care, inpatient care, standard elective and on-call surgical procedures, and administration and academic opportunities. Physicians will be part of the trauma call team requiring 6 calls per month.

nThis is a great opportunity to perform orthopedic procedures in your preferred specialty as well as provide important trauma/on-call care for the community. There is excellent PA and resident support and opportunities to collaborate with the trauma team, neurosurgical team, hospitalists, other orthopedic surgeons, and specialists in many fields. More specifically there is ample opportunity for someone to be involved in our surgical residency program with opportunity for academic growth, research, and innovation.
