• Admissions Required: Yes
• Rounding Included: Yes (assigned patients)
• Specialty Back-up/Support: 2 local integrated orthopedic surgeons & 1 non-integrated physician
• Duties/Required Skills: ED call, can do total hips/knees & simple fractures.
• Required Procedures:
- Arthroscopy, Total Joint replacement (hip, knee & others), Joint revision or repair (shoulder, hip & knee)
• Beds in the Dept: 150
• Trauma Level: III
• Facility PEDs Level: III
• EMR: Epic
• Other Info: Total knees are not a deal breaker but total hips we need somebody who can help fix a hip fracture that might come in through the ED.
• Hospital Privileges required: Yes
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active OK License or IMLC
• BC/BE
• BLS, ACLS
